I think its a relaxing base for exploring the city. Not only would return there, I would recomand that to others.

And thanks to its central location it was marvellous and incredible, right near the castle.

Amazing location at the base of the fortress, free parking in a secured area nearby, large apartment with 2 bedrooms and washing machine, convenient shopping and restaurant street nearby, beautiful historic town with rich history and rampart tours.

Believe the reviews, everything was perfect. I loved the host who runs the place. There were television, a microwave and a refrigerator, walk-in showers. Nothing too much trouble, I had a quite comfortable stay and would come here again...

The medieval castle, just 100 meters away, made us feel like we were living in a fairytale. Exploring its grandeur was a surreal experience. We even joked that we were the long-lost royalty, finally reclaiming our majestic fortress.

our romantic stay in carcassonne was absolutely amazing. gite carcasso exceeded our expectations in every way. the hosts provided clear instructions for easy entry and exit, and the property was tastefully decorated with everything we could need. the location was perfect, right at the base of the fortress.

The location of this accommodation is fantastic, as it is right next to the city walls of the old town. It's in a quiet area, yet still conveniently close to the castle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with super comfy beds and a large shower with plenty of hot water. Additionally, the accommodation provides free parking in a locked area nearby, making it easy for guests to travel with their luggage.

One small drawback is that the windows are quite small, but this can actually add to the charm of the place.

Our stay at this apartment was excellent value for money. The room was clean, stylish, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the castle. The location was perfect, just a short walk uphill to the medieval city entrance, and the hosts, Peggy and Anthony, were responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast option could be improved with the addition of a few larger cups or mugs for making tea.

Amazingly comfortable stay and the location is right next to the city walls which was super convenient. Anthony really nailed it as our host, he's awesome! 👍

Great location next to the castle, with a view of the walls from the windows. Comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, and train station. Good communication from hosts. 32 steps to climb, so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

This place was fantastic and wonderful, located right next to the city walls and we really enjoyed the host, it had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend it.
